Situational Dialogue 1
Mr.White is making an appointment for a job interview with the interviewer David.
Mr.David: Hello, this is the human resources department of ABC Company. Can I help you?
Mr.White: Hello, I am calling to inquire about the job your company posted on the internet.
Mr.David: Thank you for calling. We posted several positions. Which position are you interested in?
Mr.White: It is the position in your Sales Department. Do you still have that vacancy?
Mr.David: Yes, the position is still available. Could you send your resume together with your final diploma and other relevant certificates?
Mr.White: Sorry, what do you mean by relevant certificates?
Mr.David: I mean any certificates to show your special skills, language proficiency, such as certificates of foreign language, computer certificates and so on.
Mr.White: Oh, I see. I was wondering if you could arrange an interview for me, please.
Mr.David: But what sort of experience do you have?
Mr.White: I have been responsible for product promotion in Eastern Region of China for the past year.
Mr.David: Fine, can I have your name and telephone number? I will make an appointment for an interview for you.
Mr.White: Certainly, my name is White and my phone number is 8233569.
Mr.David: OK. Can you come to my office at 10'o clock tomorrow morning?
Mr.White: Yes, thank you very much. See you tomorrow.

Mr.White: Nice to see you.
Mr.David: Nice to see you, too. We have received your application letter and resume. I learned from your resume that you've graduated from Nanjing University. Were you in a leading position as a university student?
