Well...
I've learnt that when it's time to fly, it's time to fly... you can't put it off, you can't pretend that it's not gonna happen, and you can't pretend that you're never going to change.
I've learnt that just because people change, doesn't mean it's for the worst; and that some people just can't see that, but you have to learn to accept it...
I've learnt that you should try out as many different things as you can, from hobbies, to hairstyles to groups of friends. And that maybe to start with it feels like you're lost and that you'll never find who you are or where you belong, but then you realize that what happens if you don't keep trying, and you never truly find what you want, which means you're never yourself... and it's things like that that give you the persistence and the courage to keep going...
I've learnt that you don't find yourself overnight, and that even now there are so many things I still don't know about myself, but getting there is half the fun anyway.
I've learnt that trying hard at school, despite the taunts or torment, really is worth it... after all... what goes around comes around... and at least you'll be happy...
I've learnt that if you're going to try to reach someone's expectations, that they should be your own, and that no one can or should make you feel like you don't deserve anything.
I've learnt that there is good and bad in everyone, and that some things never change, so you might as well learn to live with it... because the world doesn't change to suit you... you have to suit it. It doesn't stop pinning to let you off... so if you can't beat it, join it.
I've learnt that as much as you want to be there for your friends, there are just some things that they have to do for themselves.
I've learnt, you should NEVER dress to impress, nor should you be someone you're not, because otherwise they're not falling in love with you... that no person on this earth is worth losing your dignity, your life and most importantly your heart over... unless they are prepared to do the same thing in return. That having fun and for YOURSELF is so important, unless you intend to lose your sanity.
